I am confused as well about the whole finding valentines stuff ha. But both of the engravings that are shown are insane! The detail in those are so intricate. Nicely done, I hope to be that talented some day.

Whipping others with roses sounds like a great way to celebrate V-Day. That's 50 Shades of affection, right thur.

Had a hell of a time trying to figure out what the caption on Venus Whipping Cupid was. Apparently it's "Love is not so easily chastised." Where did I find it? Vday post on this very site two years ago. BAM!

Every time I look at the line quality in these works I want to go line crazy and try to create but I always find out halfway through that it is not easy and it takes time.

I can't believe what these artist's achieve with line work- the value etc. And Valentine's day was smashing, per usual.

At first glance it is hard to believe that these prints are engravings because the detail is so insane. I am bowing down as we speak, I am not worthy.

This was the first time I ever really enjoyed Valentine's Day. Perhaps because this class' love is real, not forced like lesser classes.

Gah. The complexity and the detail, again. Holy balls.
